Canon expands service network in India

New Delhi, India, August 3, 2013: To provide its customers with a seamless service experience, Canon India, has announced the expansion of its consumer and office imaging service facilities in Rajasthan which are opening up at two prime locations of the state, in Neemrana and Jaipur. The authorized service franchise in Jaipur is equipped with advanced technology and facilities to cater to a growing base of Canon camera consumers in the state.

Canon has been strengthening its presence across India for addressing customer service requirements by providing international standard service. To further expand its foothold in India, the company intends to open more such Canon service centres to provide better customer experience and after sales support of Canon consumers and office products for both walk-in and on-site customers.

Alok Bharadwaj, Executive Vice president, Canon India, said, “Interest in photography continues to be on a rise, digital SLR, lenses and high end digital compact camera continue to be our main drivers for growth. Proximity of service of international standard is vital for customers’ loyalty and at Canon, we are proud to announce the expansion of our service network in the state of Rajasthan, which is a significant step in meeting Canon’s plans of expanding its service network across India.

Building upon the brand’s extensive offers and schemes with varied range of products, Canon has also introduced a special ‘Care Pack’ proposition for Indian customers. So a customer who opts for a ‘Canon Care Pack’ will be provided with an extended warranty on Canon products by paying a basic amount.
