Intel launches second phase of Nationwide Campaign

New Delhi, India, August 27, 2013: Intel in India has commenced with the second phase of its nationwide integrated campaign to spread the relevance of personal computing and drive adoption of technology amongst consumers. The campaign will be targeting consumers across 17 cities in India with the important message of how a PC can make a difference in an individual’s lives. In addition, Intel along with industry bodies such as NASSCOM, and ecosystem players had launched the National Digital Literacy Mission in India last year in order to enhance digital literacy in the country.

Sandeep Aurora, Director, Marketing & Market Development, Intel South Asia, said, “After the successful results in the first phase, we’re continuing our pursuit of driving domestic adoption of technology. In the second phase of the campaign we’re strengthening our outreach in a few states that are celebrating the festive season. The festive season symbolizes auspicious beginnings and celebrates prosperity and Intel believes that this is the perfect time to invest in a PC and uplift one’s life with the power of technology.

In order to help make PCs more affordable and accessible, Intel has worked with the ecosystem comprising of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Dell, HCL, HP and Lenovo to offer exciting financing solutions as well as retailing and e-tailing offers. Intel has also worked with various broadband suppliers like Aircel, Reliance and MTS to provide exciting offers on internet connections and dongles. Besides this consumers can also avail content and applications bundle worth over Rs.4000 including Encyclopedia Britannica, Eros Now, PowerDVD Touch  & SaReGaMa totally free of cost on the purchase of any Intel powered PC. Etailers like Flipkart, e-bay and Snapdeal are also giving consumers exciting offers on Intel based PCs.
