Trend Micro conducts “Pinnacle” – Partner Annual Meet at Kathmandu for channel partners
New Delhi, India, February 27, 2012: Trend Micro, a leading IT security company, had recently concluded its Partner’s meet – Pinnacle (Empower & Excel) at Kathmandu, Nepal as part of its efforts to scale up its Indian operations and deepen its consumer products market penetration.
The event meet was attended by more than 70 leading channel partners from across India.
The Trend Micro partner meet was held to recognize and reward the partners, who had been actively promoting and supporting Trend Micro’s Titanium range of consumer products (for PC, Laptop and Netbooks & Mobile Phones)in the Indian market last year.
The event was hosted by Sadichha Shrestha (Miss Nepal 2011) followed by presentations by Amit Nath – Country Manager; Bivash Chaterjee – National Sales Manager; and Shiori Ryu – Marketing Program Manager for APAC. The event had also evening entertainment sessions such as Nepalese traditional dance and Bollywood themed dance program to enthrall the partners.
“Though Trend Micro Globally is known for its strong consumer business with no 1 positions in many countries such as Japan, Australia, Taiwan, North America – we are late in the Indian market for our consumer business,” said Rajat Sahu, Product Marketing manager, India and SAARC, Trend Micro.
