Amazon.in expands selection

New Delhi, India, September 12, 2013:  Amazon.in today announced the opening of four new stores: Toys & Games, Baby Products, Personal Care Appliances and Health Care Devices on www.amazon.in. The company also announced that it will be launching additional categories including Home and Kitchen products in the coming weeks in time for Diwali shopping.

The announcement that comes three months after Amazon’s entry into India reiterates the company’s commitment to offer its customers a broad selection at low prices and a reliable and trustworthy online shopping experience. With the four new stores going live today, customers can now shop with confidence from an extensive selection of products across eleven categories including over 9 million books, more than 70,000 products from hundreds of brands, and over 1.7 million eBooks.

Commenting on the launch, Vice President and Country Manager at Amazon India Amit Agarwal, said, “We are excited to launch four new stores today and expand selection on Amazon.in in time for the festive season. We look forward to delighting customers with broad selection, low prices, great convenience, and reliably delivery.”
