New Delhi, India, August 22, 2013: CareerBuilder India has launched a mobile site. With the number of users searching for jobs on mobile devices almost doubling every year, CareerBuilder goes one step ahead by not only providing job postings on the mobile site, but also making it easy for job seekers to directly apply to jobs and also upload resumes from their mobile devices.

Product Manager at CareerBuilder India Rishabh Singhi, said, “While mobile job search is increasing exponentially, the opportunity to apply for jobs from a mobile device has never been there. We have simplified the whole approach and have made it easy for jobseekers to apply to jobs from mobile devices. Users can also upload resumes to CareerBuilder from a mobile device or even pick their resumes from their Dropbox or Google Drive accounts. This is the first time such a feature has been added to a mobile site of a job portal.”

Mobile-friendly features include:

·         Instantly apply with a resume already saved in the CareerBuilder database.

·         Apply to jobs via phone for unregistered users (simple form that can be filled in 1 minute)

·         Upload resume saved in Dropbox or Google Drive

·         Instantly sign in, so you don’t have to re-enter your information each time you search.

·         Choose an option to only see jobs that you can apply to using your phone.

·         See “Mobile” designation next to job postings, making it easier to identify mobile-apply enabled jobs.

·         Email jobs to yourself to follow up later.

MD at CareerBuilder India Premlesh Machama, said, “We understand that today’s professionals are always on the go. The new mobile site offers a seamless experience for the job seekers; they can not only search, but also apply to jobs using their mobile devices. This is a game changer as such a service is offered for the first time in India. Our aim is to give our users the best experience and content, which CareerBuilder is committed to.”
