Bengaluru, India, March 13, 2013: Dr.WEB, a Russian developer of information security software, has updated its Dr.Web 7.0 for Android Light to resolve known issues with the product. In particular, the update fixes a SpIDer Guard problem on certain Samsung devices when malware downloaded via a browser wasn’t being detected.

Dr.Web for Android Light will be updated automatically. If automatic updates are disabled on the device, one must go to Google Play, choose Dr.Web Anti-virus Light on the application list, and click “Update”.

In order to carry out the update via the Doctor Web site, a new distribution file must be downloaded.
