Sony rolling out Android 4.3 update for Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1

New Delhi, India, December 17, 2013: Sony has started the process of rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra smartphones. Those interested can source the update over-the-air or via PC Companion/ Bridge for Mac applications.

Sony has said that it has made a number of changes to enhance the functionality of Android 4.3 on its Xperia smartphones.

Coming to the changes, it has the Android 4.3 base, new Smart Social Camera app for Xperia Z Ultra users, which is already available on Xperia Z1. They have also modified and improved versions of Messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, Sony Select and more. There is better integration of Sony Entertainment Network cloud service on Walkman, Album and Movies apps, addition of Xperia Themes with downloadable UI packs from Sony Select. It comes with the latest Android security enhancements and Xperia in Business.

It is noteworthy to add that Sony releases Xperia software updates region/ carrier-wise, so you might have to wait a little while. However, if you have already got the update, so let us know your experience.
