Bangalore, India, February 25, 2014:  Theatro, a technology start-up in the enterprise wearable technology space, announced today the opening of the Theatro India office in Bangalore.  The Theatro Bangalore office will focus on developing new technologies specific to large-scale cloud based infrastructure as well as big data and predictive analytics.

“By being able to access the wealth of engineering talent that is available in the silicon valley of India, Theatro will be able to accelerate innovation and meet the growing demand for their solutions,” said Ed Zander, Theatro Investor, Advisory Board Member and former CEO of Motorola.

Theatro CTO Ravi Shankar Kumar will be in charge of the new Theatro R & D center at Bangalore. Kumar’s extensive experience in building sophisticated product development team in the U.S. and India will help realize seamless orchestration across the engineering organization.

Theatro CEO Chris Todd explained, “The opening of our development Bangalore office is an important milestone for Theatro. As we grow our product and solution set, our India facility will be critical to the success of our company.  Our Bangalore team will collaborate with colleagues across the globe to develop and deliver resilient, powerful wearable solutions.”
