Transcend was rated No.15 in this year’s survey

New Delhi, India, December 10, 2013: Taiwan’s top 20 brand names for 2013 were announced at the end of November by the global branding consultancy Interbrand. Transcend was rated No.15 in this year’s survey, its 7th consecutive year on the annual Taiwan Top 20 list. According to the report, Transcend’s brand value has reached $139 million US dollars with a growth rate of 7%.

CEO of Transcend Peter Shu said, “We are honored that Transcend was once again recognized as one of Taiwan’s Top 20 global brands. This year’s award means a lot to us since 2013 marks the?25th anniversary of our establishment. Over the past decades, Transcend has worked hard to be more than just a successful manufacturer. We continue to develop our reputation as a strong global brand and trusted provider of memory products that meet our consumer’s needs.”

The “Best Taiwan Global Brands” survey is organized by the economics ministry’s Industrial Development Bureau and conducted by Business Next magazine and consultancy firm Interbrand. Its evaluation system is based on Interbrand’s annual “Best Global Brands” ranking, applying quantitative financial analysis and qualitative role-of-brand and brand-strength analyses to assess a brand’s true value.
