Would you please give a brief introduction on Knowlarity Communications Pvt Ltd? What’s the prospect of cloud telephony in India?

Ans: Knowlarity provides hosted voice and communications services in India and more than 65 countries abroad. It has disrupted the telephony segment in India with its impressive lineup of product and services marketed directly to clients and indirectly through various tie-ups with internet and service companies.  Starting out in 2009, it has grown into a 200 strong company with footprints in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

The prospect is huge in India and abroad. More than 40% of our GDP come from small and medium scale industries and the market share is only going to go bigger in the following years. Knowlarity is well placed because its product and services cater to the communications needs of Small and Medium scale industries. Even worldwide there is a growing trend towards startup culture which is great for our company.

Could you please brief us about your range of products? How different are they compare to similar product in the market?

Ans: Our aim is to provide the most comprehensive range communications solutions running on a single platform – fax, IVR, telephony – you name it, we provide it. SuperReceptionist is a cloud based telephony platform that is your mini telephone exchange, call manager and lead management software rolled into one. SuperIVR provides smart IVR services by directing the caller to the right department or resource after taking their inputs. SuperFax is our cloud fax services that will make fax machine completely outdated, allowing you to send and receive faxes via email.

We have the early starter advantage having started out in 2009 when the industry was still in its infancy.  The biggest difference is of course the Knowlus platform that was developed in house at our R&D Center.

Which amongst them has been best received in the market?

Ans: All our products have been well received in the market. We have received very encouraging feedbacks from our customers in India and abroad that have motivated us to do even better.

What is Knowlarity Communications growth rate in the last two financial years? Where do you like to reach by 2020?

Ans: We have grown at an incredible rate in the last two years. We have 4000 plus clients using our products and services right now, including some industry bigwigs like Pepsico, Convergys,  and Naukri.com.  We would be a billion dollar company by 2020.

What are your plans for the current year?

Ans: We have just opened our Singapore Office to drive our marketing efforts in that region. The business opportunities are immense in Europe, Asia pacific and the Americas. Our aim is to drive growth in these regions.

How do you plan to tackle competition?

Ans: None of our Indian competitors has anything even remotely close to the Knowlus platform in their armory. We are not worries about our foreign competitors because they have no understanding about the Indian Market. Right now none of them have an office in India. We have the early mover advantage and want to make the most of it.

Any revolutionary new product you want to launch in the near future? 

Ans: We are an innovation led company that is constantly on the lookout for new technologies to provide communication technologies to the masses.

What is your broad market strategy for India for the next couple of years? 

Ans: Currently, Knowlarity is on an expansion spree and aspires to provide unified, distributed and extensible telephony platform services to clients across the world. Please elaborate on these expansion plans.

As we said earlier, we want to provide the most comprehensive communications experience to the user through our cloud telephony platform.  Businesses receive thousands upon thousands of phone and email enquires everyday from their customers and our goal is to create a unified platform that will be capable enough for handling all types of B2C interactions.

Would you please tell us in detail about your Sales model?

Ans: We have a wonderfully talented sales team driving our domestic and international business. Basically we provide our hosted voice and communication services directly to our clients and indirectly through tie-ups with various IT and Services Companies. For example, Convergys uses our services to power their real time employee transport updating system. Similarly, local search engine giant, JustDial.com, can direct business leads to any business system by using our services.

Would you please reflect upon your range and type of clientele? 

Ans: At present we have 4000 plus clients from all over the world. We operate in every city in India and in 65 countries abroad. Clients include big names like Convergys, Pepsico, Naukri.com, JustDial.com, Fortis Hospital and so on.

In which zone in India, You have the strongest presence and which zone you are weakest?

Ans: We have pan India business presence. We provide several language options to our clients which makes our product useful in any part of India.  Thanks to our product a Tamil speaking businessman from down South can cater to customers in the Hindi heartland by recording a welcoming message in Hindi and providing an option to place a new order in the Hindi language.
