Delhi police raids printing press for using pirated Adobe Software

AdobeNew Delhi, India, June 7, 2013: A team under the guidance of ACP DIU SW Dwarka conducted the raid at M/s. Poonam Press, Delhi on May 27th, 2013 . During the action, the accused informed that another company, namely, M/s. Yashika Printers also uses the same computer systems placed at the premise of Poonam Press and carries out the designing work for Poonam Press.

A copy of the FIR filed which is in possession of Mouseworld Now indicates that:

A total of 5 computer systems were checked. The raid involved seizure and confiscation of 4 computers placed at the premise of the said target as the same were found loaded with 4 installations of Adobe Master Collection CS3 and 1 installation of CS5.

The police has seized and confiscated the said CPUs. The owner of the said entities Mr. Surinder Singh and Mr. Sunil Sharma, have been taken to the police station, where a formal FIR bearing number 128/2013 at Police Station, Naraina (Delhi), has been registered and on the basis of the same the afore-mentioned persons have been arrested.
