ASUS M51AC-Desktop-with-Monitor (Optional)New Delhi, India, July 30, 2013: ASUS has today launched its latest M51AC desktop with Windows 8 operating system and powered by the latest 4th generation Intel Core processors (Haswell) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics.

The M51AC also has a Wireless Charger tray for wireless recharging of smartphones and tablets. It is the first desktop PC to feature ASUS SonicMaster audio technology for enhanced sound quality. The new M51AC also features ASUS Power Pack — a removable UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that acts like a mini UPS for the PC.

The ASUS Power Pack is a removable battery. It can also be used as a portable rechargeable battery pack for smartphones and tablets.

The M51AC desktop features exclusive ASUS Smart Cooling System which reduces dust accumulation, lowers operating temperatures by up to 11.4℃ and Q Fan Quietness Technology adjusts CPU fan speeds according to its current load for stable, reliable operation. It comes in a matte finish with a textured front façade that resists fingerprints marks better than glossy surfaces.

ASUS USM (Universal Storage Module) makes expanding hard drive storage easy and offers data rates twice that of USB 3.0 and it also features front USB 3.0 ports with Ai Charger technology for rapid recharging of mobile devices. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 delivers up to 10 times faster transfer rates compared to previous generation USB, and charges devices up to 50% faster.

Vinay Shetty, Country Head – Component Business, ASUS (India), said, “We’ve launched the M51AC desktop today in sync with our strategy of offering feature rich and unique desktops in the mid and high end segment. The M51AC is a fully featured multimedia desktop and has various unique features like the built-in ASUS Power Pack which works as a UPS as well as a portable battery to charge your devices.”

“It also features a wireless charging tray along with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology and the desktop provides sufficient computing muscle with the latest 4th Generation Haswell Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GTX650 graphics card. For our customers’ peace of mind, we’re also offering a robust 3 year onsite warranty on all our desktops,” added Shetty.

The latest 4th generation Intel Core processors deliver new levels of multi-tasking performance to make light tasks of even the most demanding tasks, from playing 4k UltraHD video, editing high-resolution photos to playing the latest games at their maximum quality settings — and everything in between.

ASUS SonicMaster technology together with Maxxaudio, from Waves provides refined music, surround sound gaming and movie experience, and clearer voice in speech and recording. ASUS M51AC desktops also feature Qi — a cable-free recharging technology for mobile devices.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics mean you can experience the latest games the way they were meant to, with high resolutions, better image quality settings and smooth frame rates.

According to PCWorld USA 2012 reader survey, ASUS was ranked as a leading choice for desktop PCs in terms of satisfaction with their value, connectivity, ease of use and reliability.
