BenQ-W1500New Delhi, India, September 4, 2013: BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of digital lifestyle innovations and a market leader in Indian Projector market with more than 20% market share; has launched its Full HD 1080P 3D wireless home entertainment projectors- the W1500.

Equipped with world-leading 5Ghz Wireless Full HD, the new projector brings a new level of cable-free convenience to home entertainment, enabling wireless 2D to 3D conversion from a diverse range of multimedia sources with HDMI interface, from Blu-ray, DVD or AV-R player, set top boxes to games consoles. W1500 allows you to project uncompressed FHD image from HDMI output devices (e.g. Blu-ray , DVD or AV-R player, set top boxes, games consoles) without HDMI cable hassle or unnecessary expense. Its Wireless Home Digital Interface (WHDI) uses the 5GHz radio transmission band, which can transfer both 2D and 3D HD video and audio in the same quality as a wired connection with no latency over distances of up to a maximum of 20 meter which means there will be perfect projection even if the equipment is in another room.

The W1500 features World-leading SmartEco Technology, which can adjust the lamp power to maximize lamp power saving up to 70% and lower the maintenance costs. The extra-long lamp life of 6000 hours significantly lessens the overall total cost of ownership of the projector by reducing the frequency of lamp replacement.

Visually Stunning W1500 is equipped with full HD 1080P 2D to3D conversion along with the utmost color precision. Built to match one of the highest HD video standards seen in professional-grade home projectors today, the W1500 delivers colors so real that it reflects what the human eye perceives with a native Rec. 709 color gamut and is ISFccc-certified for professional calibration customization services. The projector also features Texas Instruments’ advanced DarkChip3 DLP Technology for higher brightness and deeper black levels so that a smooth, film-like picture is what you’ll get. For an ultra-smooth and lifelike motion picture, there’s the MEMC frame interpolation technology to eliminate distracting tremors and blurred shadows.

W1500’s 1.6x Big Zoom feature frees up space with an impressive range of throw distances; giving you the freedom and flexibility of placing the projector anywhere without having to compromise your current decor. Along with that, the Lens shift offers the extra flexibility to overcome any minor miscalculations during projector installation.

The W1500 supports popular 3D timing and HDMI 1.4a mandatory 3D, allowing you to watch 3D contents directly from Blu-ray player or DTH as well as play 3D games with the PS3. It is also NVIDIA 3DTV-supported to display 3D contents in PC powered by an NVIDIA chip, such as games, apps, videos, photos and Blu-ray 3D.

The BenQ W1500 is available at a price (MRP) of Rs. 1,75,000 across India.
