BlackBerry launches BlackBerry Q10 in India @ Rs 44,990

BlackBerry Q10New Delhi, India, June 7, 2013: BlackBerry, a Canadian smartphone maker has launched its keyboard-touting Q10 smartphone in India. BlackBerry Q10 features touch-and-type functionality and features a Qwerty keyboard below the 3.1-inch touchscreen. BlackBerry has priced the device at Rs 44,990.

Blackberry Managing Director (India) Sunil Lalvani, said, “This is our first QWERTY BlackBerry10 smartphone. The Q10 gives customers the assurance of typing on a classic BlackBerry keyboard along with our latest operating system that offers the mobile computing experience.”

BlackBerry Q10 runs on the BlackBerry 10 operating system and packs a 1.5GHz processor. This smartphone coupled with 2GB RAM.

BlackBerry Q10 smartphone sports an 8MP camera, whereas a 2MP unit is placed in front. This phone includes 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 NFC and microUSB 2.0. The device has a 2,100mAh battery and available with 16GB onboard storage, the phone also supports storage expansion up to 64GB via microSD card. This phone features a SuperAMOLED display with resolution of 720x720p and 328ppi pixel density.

BlackBerry Q10 smartphone is available in the country in white and black colours.
