ComGuard Infosol appointed as VAD by GFI

New Delhi, 26th February, 2014:  ComGuard Infosol and GFI Software today signed a distribution agreement. As per the agreement,  ComGuard Infosol, a leading true Value-added Distributor, will distribute GFI’s IT security solutions for small medium businesses (SMBs) across India. ComGuard Infosol is one of the leading value added IT security products distributor and GFI is one of the fastest-growing IT security solutions providers internationally.

This agreement will enable GFI to grow its business and strengthen its position in the Indian IT market, leveraging ComGuard Infosol’s wide presence across 40+ Indian Cities. Comguard Infosol will provide new services and support to channel partners and customers by adding GFI’s technologies to its portfolio.

ComGuard has already been distributing GFI products in the Middle-East. The present agreement for the Indian market is seen as a consolidation of the relationship internationally between ComGuard Infosol and GFI.

ComGuard Infosol is an arm of the Dubai Headquartered Spectrum Group, which is a synergy of Spectrum Training, ComGuard Infosol Distribution, ComGuard Infosol Value Business, Psilog International, Spectrum Network Solutions (India) ComGuard Infosol (India) & F1 Infotech (Hospitality Solutions).

Spectrum Group CEO Ajay Singh Chauhan said: “We are delighted to partner with GFI as their authorized distributor for India. GFI is a preeminent brand in IT security solutions. This agreement will assist in addressing IT security challenges faced by small and medium businesses. We will be providing extensive support to help GFI extend their client base in the region.

The agreement authorizes ComGuard Infosol to distribute GFI’s portfolio of nine products in three categories, across the region. The product set includes network security, anti-spam, patch management, faxing, mail archiving and web monitoring, among others.

ComGuard Infosol and GFI announced the agreement to partners at the launch event at the Eros hotel, New Delhi. Channel partners from Delhi and NCR region attended.

This is viewed as one of the significant moves by ComGuard Infosol in the  security space. ComGuard Infosol have a presence in Egypt, Dubai, Riyadh, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.

ComGuard Infosol started its operations in India in 2009 as a niche network and security technology distributor.
