Edimax ties up with Wifi-soft

Rishi Ghare-Founder-and-CEO-Wifi-softMumbai, India, November 19, 2013: EDIMAX Technology, a leading provider of advanced network communication products, tied up with Wifi-soft and launched its product Uni-Edi. The product comes bundled with Edimax routers and access control solutions from Wifi-soft. The launch attracted 45+ partners from across India. With this partnership, Edimax and Wifi-soft are looking to reach out to effective management of Wi-Fi in public sector. The product will provide complete Wi-Fi solution to companies at competitive rates.

The launch was a joint initiative by Edimax, OEM/ODM of Wi-Fi product design & development and Wi-Fi Soft, an access controller manufacturer to educate the partner’s of both Edimax and Wifi-soft on their new joint initiative. The agenda was to highlight the new solutions among top SI’s which can be used to tap multiple un-tapped verticals and compete with the top end brands in the same space offering cost effective & robust solution to industry. The event attracted few ISPs who showed keen interest in the solution.

Director-Sales (India) at Edimax Technology Eric Yang said, “The launch was one of its kind joint initiative between two highly technically sound companies to bring forth a wi-fi/AP management solution. The event was a launch pad to provide much comprehensive hotspot technology in the marketplace. With the combined advanced technology we will be able to ensure that there is continuity in the internet access in public spaces. The event saw excellent turn out and exceeded our expectation.”
