Hitachi announces changes in top management

Hitachi-logoNew Delhi, India, January 9, 2014: Japanese manufacturing major Hitachi has announced the change of its Chairman and President in accordance with a resolution passed by a meeting of the Board of Directors held today. It will be effective from April 1, 2014.

Effective from April 1, 2014, Hiroaki Nakanishi will be the director, representative executive officer, chairman & CEO who is currently director, representative executive officer and president.

Toshiaki Higashihara will be representative executive officer, president & COO. He is currently senior vice president and executive officer, in charge of Medical Systems Business, president & CEO of Infrastructure Systems Group and Infrastructure Systems Company.

Hitachi’s Representative Executive Officer and President Hiroaki Nakanishi will be appointed as a Director who chairs meetings of the Board of Directors.
