Ixia Vision ONE certified interoperable with RSA’s NetWitness Suite for advanced threat detection and response

Bangaloreixia-logo-Mouseworld-Now — February 17, 2017— Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA), a leading provider of network test, visibility, and security solution, has said today that the company’s network packet broker (NPB), Vision ONE has been certified as interoperable with RSA’s NetWitness Suite for advanced threat detection and response.

This interoperability will help enable enterprise customers with diverse architectures to easily deploy comprehensive network security without compromising performance.

RSA also named Ixia a technology partner in the RSA Ready Program, expanding the ecosystem for the RSA NetWitness Suite. The RSA NetWitness Suite is designed to provide pre-emptive, proactive detection of known and unknown threats, and understands the full scope of a cyber-attack across endpoints, networks, and the cloud.

Vision ONE boosts network protection without negatively impacting performance
Ixia’s Vision ONE enables organizations to maintain security as well as identify and resolve performance problems across physical and virtual infrastructures from a single platform. The solution directs traffic of interest to monitoring tools to relieve oversubscription, leverages tool investment across groups, and centralizes monitoring in the Security Operations Center (SOC). It simultaneously collects traffic feeds from important network segments through Ixia’s comprehensive line of network and virtual taps.

Ixia will be exhibiting (Booth # 3401 North Hall) at the RSA Conference 2017, February 13th through February 17th, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Ixia will demonstrate a wide range of technology advancements and interoperability with key industry partners that will show attendees how to Test their network at cloud speed; Reduce their network attack surface; Monitor public and private clouds, as well as SD-WAN; Break the SSL test barrier and decrypt SSL traffic faster;Improve compliance tool efficiency; Make inline security safe; and upgrade their network without downtime.

Dennis Cox, Ixia’s Chief Product Officer, will deliver his address on February 15th, at 1:30 PM PT (North Hall 130), covering “Who will guard the guards themselves? The truth behind security devices.”

Cox will share information and experience that will educate attendees as to the best methods for selecting network/security devices and equipment. In his presentation, Cox will share best practices, including the questions to be asked, to determine the best device(s) for each network challenge faced.
