NETGEAR extends its market reach to North East Market

The fresh foray is seen as part of the networking major’s efforts to expand its market reach at a pan India level.

As a part of its expansion drive, NETGEAR now focuses to tap the untapped North East Market. The company has chalked out aggressive strategies with its new regional distribution model and hopes to garner a 20 percent market share in the current fiscal.

Subhodeep Bhattacharya, Regional Director, India & SAARC, NETGEAR said, “North East India market presents a very large opportunity for NETGEAR and we are working to increase our presence here. We are working to develop the distribution channel, train the partners and will shortly be announcing some recruitment plans. As a part of our immediate growth strategy, we want to expand our reach to all major cities in the North East.”


NETGEAR has currently 40 sub distributors and 1200 active retailers across the country. NETGEAR has beefed up investments in post-sales support. Through 30 service centers and a hotline number, NETGEAR is catering to the needs of Indian customers.

“Indian market is growing on Broadband adoption and SMB technology adoption and we believe that this is going to drive growth in India for some years to come. We are focused on bringing the best products for this category, added Bhattacharya.”
