Samsung’s instant messenger ChatON crosses 100 million users globally

Samsung-ChatOnNew Delhi, India, September 30, 2013: Samsung has made an announcement that its instant messenger service ChatON has crossed 100 million users mark globally. ChatON platform was launched in October 2011. ChatON comes pre-loaded on all major Samsung Galaxy devices like S 3, Note 2, S4, and Note 3.

Samsung has written on its official blog, “ChatON has experienced steady growth in India, China, and the United States, and is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and the Middle East. The service was designed to ensure that users across the globe can communicate in multiple languages – ChatON currently supports 63 languages in major countries of the world.”

ChatON will support 13 regional languages by the end of this year.
