Sony Xperia Z1 launches in India @ Rs 44,990

sony-xperia-z1Mumbai, India, September 19, 2013: Sony has launched its long awaited camera smartphone ‘Sony Xperia Z1′ in India with the price of Rs 44,990.

Sony Xperia Z1 has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It can be taken up to 64 GB with micro-SD card. In addition, it has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) full HD Triluminous display, which supports 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The phone weights 170 grams and is 8.5-mm thick. It is powered by a 2.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) quad-core processor and runs on a 3,000 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia Z1 sports a 20.7 mega pixel rear camera. It features the company’s G-Lens with bright F2.0 aperture and a 27-mm wide angle. Additionally, it has custom made large 1/2.3-type CMOS image sensors and the Exmor RS for mobile. It has a 2 mega pixel front camera and is Playstation certified. It is a water-proof and dust-proof smartphone, which is IP55 and IP58 certified.

The Sony Xperia Z1 also has GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, MHL,  NFC, GLONASS, A-GPS,  Wi-Fi, DLNA and micro-USB port support.

Additionally, Sony has added the features of free unlimited music streaming and download for six months  for Indian consumers. Users can also access various TV programmes like KBC and Indian Idol. Sony Xperia Z1 will be available in India at the price of Rs 44,990.
