New Delhi, April 25, 2019:  TCL Electronics, a leading global television and consumer electronics company, has launched a full range of smart home appliances in India. TCL rolled out the innovative smart home products at a grand launch ceremony at the Taj Palace Hotel in the capital today.

Delhi Capitals’ cricketing stars Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada, Chris Morris, and Ishant Sharma graced the launch event, along with the senior leadership team from TCL Electronics. A couple of weeks before TCL had inked its association with IPL’s Delhi Capitals as a sponsor.

Last December, TCL had inaugurated its GIANT panel factory  in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, marking its first manufacturing unit outside of China. The new manufacturing set aims at offering Indian-centric products at competitive prices and creating over 8,000 job in the region.

Within a short span since its national launch, TCL has emerged as one of the leading players in the Indian market and, as claimed by the company, ranked fifth in the country in terms of TVs sold in 2018. Globally, the brand was ranked amongst the global top two TV brands last year, in terms of shipment volumes.

With a comprehensive product portfolio that leverages latest advancements in artificial intelligence and IoT, TCL has managed to claim a fair amount of consumer mindshare across categories. The latest launches of innovative smart home appliances will further strengthen TCL’s position as a consumer appliances brand in the India market.

TCL happens to be the first brand to make Google-certified Android TVs available in all sizes from 32” to 75”, changing the game in India’s TV market. Its entry into the home appliance segment brought in AI-enabled smart home electronics products to the market at affordable prices.
