Amkette launches USB 3.0 Hub

The USB 3.0 Superspeed Hub can transfer data between multiple hard disks and flash drive simultaneously without compromising performance. Designed to connect with multiple USB peripherals and storage devices like laptop, PC, hard disk and smartphones, the plug-and-play device enhances the transfer rate up to 5Gbps, ten times faster than the USB 2.0. The new accessory used as a connector between peripherals and data centre is priced at Rs. 2,299.

The new device- USB Hub 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub features a powerful SuperSpeed interface that delivers up to 900mA of power with the help of the power adapter which facilitates mobile-device charging faster than any USB 2.0 hub. The Amkette 3.0 Superspeed Hub also comes with on-board fuse protection for all devices. Created with a technology and compact design it revolutionizes the way data is transferred making it easy and convenient for data transfer without sacrificing its functionality. The device designed with 4 SuperSpeed certified ports also features backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.

Commenting on the launch,  Director at Amkette Rajiv K Bapna, said, “The transition of the storage space from GB’s to TB’s has revolutionised the consumption of data but is yet to be adopted in the data centers like PC’s and laptops as only a limited number of them feature a USB 3.0 port.
