HCL ME Tablet launches kids tablet ‘ME Champ’

HCL ME Champ tablet provides content that comprises of kids TV, comics, games, knowledge and music. It enhances the learning experience of Champs, with infotainment contentacross various categories like Games, Education, Books & TV, taking learning and play to the next level. It comes with pre-loaded content for kids, including exercises in art, geography, history, language and mathematics. The device also offers free access to more than 500 Apps.

HCL ME Champ has good graphic design with a colorful UI that allures kids in fun learning and enhances cognitive abilities. The HCL “ME Champ” tablet is priced at Rs 7,999.

The HCL ME Champ tablet comes with tracking features, a control mechanism to help parents monitor their child’s activities and an Application Manager that offers parents the ability to select apps and restrict tablet use duration for kids access. The tablet can be operated in 2 modes – Parent mode (where the tablet functions as a normal device) and Kids Mode (in which parents can define the content the kids can access). ME Champ tablet also supports 11 regional Indian languages.

The new HCL ME Champ Tab offers 3G connectivity through USB datacard. Based on the android OS 4.1 (Jelly Bean), the device is equipped with a 2-mega pixel back camera and a 0.3-mega pixel front camera which enables video chatting . The tablet supports a 7-inch multi touch capacitive screen with 800 x 480 pixel display. The tablet is designed with a Graphics Processor – Mali-400 GPU and 3D Graphics Processing and also it runs on Cortex A9 1 Ghz processor. It comes with a 1 GB RAM memory and 4 GB internal memory, along with a memory card slot that can add another 32 GB. It has a robust 3100 mAh battery. The HCL ME Champ has a Micro USB port and also supports Wi-Fi connectivity.

HCL ME Champ comes pre-loaded with 1 Mobile App Store. The tablet is available across all major stores and online portals.
