RIM releases five BlackBerry smartphones
New Delhi, India: RIM (Research In Motion) has just released five BlackBerry smartphones to the world markets. The new launches include the BlackBerry Torch 9810, the BlackBerry Bold 9900, the BlackBerry Bold 9930, the BlackBerry Torch 9850, and the BlackBerry Torch 9860.
All five Blackberry smartphones run on BlackBerry 7 OS and boasts of 1.2GHz processors.
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone has surfaced in the US through AT&T carriers. The device packs a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot.
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is saddled with a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording. The Blackberry gadget is equipped with a front-facing VGA camera, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
BlackBerry Torch 9810 will also be made available also on Rogers, Telus and Bell (Canada), O2, Vodafone, Three, and Virgin Mobile (the UK), according to reports.
The BlackBerry Bold 9930 and 9900 smartphones are loaded with a 640 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, a physical QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth.
The BlackBerry Torch 9860 and 9850 smartphones pack a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolutions, a 5 mehapixel camera, 4GB onboard storage and a QWERTY keyboard.
