Siemens wins order worth Rs. 119 cr. from Sterlite Power Grid

Siemens-logoNew Delhi, 18th Feb. 2017: Siemens Ltd. has won an order worth approximately Rs. 119 crores from Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Ltd, says a company release. The order is for Design, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacture, Supply and commissioning of equipment for 765/400kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Substation at Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) and 765kV AIS Bay Extension Equipment at Dhule (Maharashtra) for Khargone Transmission Ltd.

Siemens focuses on the areas of electrification, automation and digitalization. The company is also one of the leading producers of technologies for combined cycle turbines for power generation; power transmission and distribution solutions; infrastructure solutions for Smart Cities and transportation; automation and software solutions for industry, and also supplier of healthcare.
