Maxx Mobile launches twenty-six new handsets models

New Delhi, India, January 28, 2014: Maxx Mobile, India’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones and accessories has launched twenty-six new handsets on the occasion of India’s 64th Republic Day. The newly launched handsets include nineteen feature phones and seven android phones. Maxx has made this move in order to maintain its focus on delivering maximum variety of high quality phones at very affordable prices. The phones are priced between Rs. 1100 and Rs. 5000. Continuing its ‘value for money’ approach, Maxx has launched phones with features that suit every individual’s requirement and at price points that fit every pocket.

CMD & Founder of Maxx Mobile Ajjay Agarwal said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of 26 models on this occasion of great national importance. We had launched 15 models on 15 Aug 2013 and now are launching 26 models on 26 Jan offering the consumer freedom to choose his handset. With this our total new handsets launched during FY 2013-2014 till date is 105, of which 75 are Feature Phones,28 are Android Phones and 2 are tablets. Being a homegrown company, we understand the pulse of Indian consumers and make phones that suit the needs and budget of every handset user. By offering the largest variety of handsets at varied price points, we want to connect every Indian to the mobile ecosystem, thus contribute to ‘mobile inclusion’. Technology being the game changer and mobile being the most significant aspect of it, mobile inclusion is key to the overall growth and development of the nation.”

The various models which the company has launched include seven Android phones, equipped with Andoid OS Gingerbread and Jelly Bean, 256 MB to 512 MB RAM, up to 2 MP primary camera, LED flash light and up to 1600 mHz battery. The launch also includes nineteen feature phones, in the 1.8’ to 2.8’ segment, equipped with dual SIM, GPRS, long lasting battery life of up to 1500 mHz, security features such as anti-theft and privacy protection and up to 8 GB worth of expandable memory. The models launched in the Android segment are AX44, AX 45, AX5i, MSD7 Smarty II, AX06, AX409 and AX04 while those launched in the feature phone segment include, MX180, MX422, MX187, MX12, MX444, MX105, MX125, MX553, MX472, MX168, MX467, MX445, MX11, MX103, MX254, MX255, MX433, MX442 and MT352.

This announcement was made on a cruise that Maxx had organized for their dealers. This cruise to Thailand and Malaysia was organized as a special incentive for Maxx’s key dealers who had done outstanding sales performance.
