Edimax unveils wireless network camera

New Delhi, India, June 21, 2013: EDIMAX Technology, a leading provider of advanced network communication products, Edimax has launched the cost-effective and stylish Wireless Network Camera – IC3115 1.3Mpx, designed for easy home monitoring. With a sleek, glossy white finish and the size of an average smartphone, the IC-3115W’s simplistic and elegant design is perfect to be placed on a table or mounted on a wall.

 Spec:

The Edimax IC-3115W is equipped with a wide 1.7mm (28mm equiv.) lens and an impressive viewing angle of 74.8 degrees, meaning a single camera can cover wide areas of the home. It has a 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and can capture SXVGA (1280 x 960) videos at 30 frames per second, and features a multi-area motion detection system. Upon detecting motion, the network camera immediately takes a snapshot and sends it to the user via e-mail or FTP. The IC-3115W comes with free 16-channel viewing software for PC, where users can access, view and manage up to 16 network cameras simultaneously. Manual, cycled and scheduled video recording functions are all supported, ensuring that the IC-3115W can be used for any and every surveillance application. Edimax also goes mobile with the convenient EdiView app, available free for iPhone and Android; allowing you to access your network camera from your smartphone.

Edimax Plug-n-View

Edimax Plug-n-View is a technology that facilitates easy camera setup and easy remote monitoring. Users can set up their Edimax network camera in a few simple steps, and little to no effort is required. The camera will connect to the Edimax Cloud automatically, and users can use the EdiView app or included software to access their network camera remotely on a smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac.
