ASUS Rolls out World’s Smallest Range of 13”, 14” and 15” Notebooks

ASUS-logoNew Delhi, January 30, 2019: ASUS today rolled out the most compact ZenBook series laptops, packing superior aesthetics and performance. The latest models represent the high tech couture ZenBook laptop series that have become popular due its attractive, thin-and-light minimalist designs.

Our innovation synergies continue to this day, imagining new notebooks so unique in design and features, they’ll transform the way people engage with their PCs to accomplish amazing things,” said ASUS PC & Gaming Head, Arnold Su.

“Today yet again, we are extremely proud to launch the ‘World’s smallest laptop’ without comprising on performance and focusing on absolute portability. We are confident that our consumers will love our new Zenbook range priced competitive,” Su added.

 

Small is Big

Out of these three exquisite small and compact sized models, the ZenBook 15 (UX533) packs a 4K compact 15.6-inch display. The device features a physical numeric keypad and comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050.

Likewise, the ZenBook 14 (UX433) is a 14-inch laptop with a Full HD display. It matches the dimensions of an A4 sheet paper. The laptop can run for 14 hours with a single charge. It allows for rapid and intuitive data entry and calculations with a NumberPad icon, which once tapped, brings to life a full-size LED-illuminated numeric keypad . It packs an NVIDIA GeForce MX150. 

The smallest of the three, the ZenBook 13 (UX333) provides a Full HD display and is smaller than an A4 paper in size. It also sports a NumberPad, a full-sized LED-illuminated numeric keypad and comes with an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 like the ZenBook 14 (UX433).

The new ZenBooks have a strong-build and have reportedly passed the demanding MIL-STD-810G military standard for reliability and durability.

The laptops feature an “ErgoLift” hinge that automatically tilts the keyboard up at the rear when the laptops are open, to create a comfortable typing angle. They have displays that have ultra-narrow frame bezels called the “NanoEdge” displays.

The new ZenBooks have a webcam fitted into the top edge of their narrow display frame bezels. It has 3D IR capability which helps unlock the laptops with the user’s face through Windows’ Hello login system, even in low-light environments.

The ZenBook series have high-performance components including the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPU, up to NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics, 16GB RAM, ultrafast PCIe SSDs and the fastest available gigabit-class Wi-Fi.

All models are equipped with PCIe SSDs and up to 16GB of RAM. This will help to create complex documents, mine data, retouch photos, edit videos, or simply take a gaming break. All of them also feature gigabit-class Wi-Fi and ASUS Wi-Fi Master technology, for fast downloads and smooth streaming with greater range and more stable network connections.

The new ZenBook series features USB Type-C port, superfast USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gbps) data transfers. There’s also a range of other USB ports, including USB Type-A (up to 5Gbps or 10Gbps) and/or USB 2.0. All models also include a full-sized HDMI port and a microSD or SD card reader, making it easier to connect to  various peripherals.

The products will be available on both online on Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm and offline from January 30. Asus has mentioned the pricing on its site.
